And Then We Eat…

Chinese Takeaway Chow-down

Another big meal

My brother and sister-in-law flew in from Calgary for a visit.  It was short.  It was sweet.  It was time well spent eating and then when we were full – we just ate some more.  There was the Chinese takeaway that had to be polished off and our favourite Greek and Malaysian restaurants that deserved a visit.  Then there was tea and copious amounts of cake that just had to be consumed.  Between mouthfuls of fabulous food there was non-stop chatter.  We talked about everything and anything until the next course arrived.

Thinking back – the amount of food around that weekend was a little outrageous.  Every moment revolved around breaking bread with each other but at the end of the day – isn’t this what it’s all about?
